Under the guidance of choreographer Miki Stoica, the M&M dance group explores a wide range of choreographic styles, offering performances full of dynamism and expressiveness. From modern, classical and contemporary dance to show-revue, dancesport, comic dance, character dance and majorettes, M&M impresses through its versatility and originality.
The group’s choreographic style stands out especially in modern dance, where elements of classical ballet are reinterpreted to current rhythms and combined with breakdance and flashdance techniques. Each performance is built on varied musical collages, alternating between lively moments and lyrical sequences, for a strong choreographic impact.
Alongside show dance, M&M also performs standard and Latin American dance, combining impeccable technique with stage expressiveness. Recognition was not long in coming: the group has won awards at numerous student dance festivals across the country.
The Student Culture House of Sibiu supports and promotes the work of the M&M group, offering students who are passionate about dance a professional setting for artistic expression and performance.
